INTRODUCTION Given the high prevalence of sleep apnea/hypopnea syndrome (SAHS) and great demand for conventional polysomnography (PSG) and long waiting lists, alternative means for diagnosing SAHS and titrating continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) are needed.
