The phylogenetic relationships among 14 Chinese genera of Phoridae were reconstructed based on concatenated sequences of the mitochondrial 12S and 16S rRNA genes using maximum parsimony, maximum likelihood and Bayesian methods. The alignment of the concatenated sequences spanned 819 sites including 277 variable sites, of which 200 were parsimony-informative. The sequences showed a 77.7% A+T bias.
