The intraosseous wiring, using two wires twisted on both sides, is an essential enlargement of the operative techniques of osteosynthesis and arthrodesis at the hand skeleton. Its efficiency results from the bio-mechanical principles of tension-band stabilization and inter-fragmentary compression.
