This study analyzed chlorinated pesticides of sediments in Taihu Lake. The DDT, DDE, DDD, HCH isomers, Aldrin, Diddrin, Hexachlorobenze, Heptachlor were measured in all samples. beta-HCH, p, p'-DDE and Hexachlorobenze had higher concentrations than others. The average values of them were 6.572 ng/g, 1.432 ng/g and 2.158 ng/g, respectively. HCHs in sediments were higher than DDTs.
