The effect of naloxone (opioid receptor blocker) on the impairment of growth hormone (GH) release after clonidine (alfa 2-adrenergic agonist) was investigated in 10 volunteer obese subjects. The patients (4 males and 6 females, 16-22 year old) with fat excess (15 +/- 2 kg) estimated by bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) were studied repeatedly.
