Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma has drawn attention in the last twenty years due to its pathological and clinical characteristics. It is a question of B-cell neoplasm with extranodal origin, and with invariable prolonged localisation, indicating indolent malignancy.
