The mechanism of catecholamine (CA) release induced by transmural stimulation (TS) and the participation of acetylcholine (ACh) in this mechanism were studied using isotonic contraction of excised vas defernse of rats. Furthermore, the inhibitory effect of bretylium (Br) on sympathetic activity was observed.
