According to the European League of Associations of Rheumatology (EULAR) and the American College of Rheumatology (ACR), acetaminophen should be used as a first-line therapy in patients with osteoarthritis, because of its safety and effectiveness. NSAID should be considered in patients unresponsive to acetaminophen, and should be prescribed at the lowest effective dose and for the shortest duration. The use of stronger analgesics, such as weak opioids and narcotic analgesics, is only indicated…

Safety and efficacy of paracetamol and NSAIDs in osteoarthritis: which drug to recommend?

Given the putative gastrointestinal and cardiovascular toxicity and poor analgesic properties of acetaminophen in OA, its use in patients with risk factors is questionable and the choice of NSAIDs, traditional or coxibs, should be based on individual patient risk factors.

Effects of Arthro-7 ® in relieving symptoms of osteoarthritis with mild to moderate arthralgia [Corrigendum]

Arthro-7 has shown potent effects in improving and relieving osteoarthritis-related symptoms, particularly joint pain, anchylosis, and difficulty going down stairs.

Arthrocen, an avocado-soy unsaponifiable agent, improves acetic acid-induced colitis in rat by inhibition of NF-kB signaling pathway.

It is demonstrated that Arthrocen reduced macroscopic and microscopic damage compared to the acetic acid group, and decreased the activity of MPO and TNF-α as well as the protein expression of pNF-kB in rat colon tissue.
