The activity of the nonenzymatic lipid peroxidation system in the lipids of eggs and embryos of Misgurnus fossilis during the first 6 hours of development is low, on the average, still being somewhat changed. Based on the thermochemoluminescent data, one may assume that the low activity of this system results from the presence of lipophilic antioxidants.
