[Late complications after dacron-grafts (author's transl)].

Abstract

In a series of 850 reconstructive operations for chronic occlusive arterial disease we found 17 anastomotic aneurysms and 6 infections over a period of 8 to 10 years after the operation. In case of vascular infection the excision of the graft is urgent, "extraanatomic" reconstruction can prevent loss of limb and live.
