The topographical distribution of neurons containing LHRH has been investigated in newborn hypothalamus using the peroxidase anti-peroxidase technique. In control subjects, LHRH immunoreactive (LHRH-IR) perikarya have been mainly observed essentially in the infundibular nucleus.
