This interim report, for findings as of May, 1998, covers data on 435 gastrectomized patients with semi-advanced stomach cancer collected from 144 institutions between November, 1993 and March, 1996. The active arm of the study involved CDDP i.p. administration of 70 mg/m2 at the time of resective surgery, followed by UFT oral administration for one year at 3-4 capsules daily.
