To analyze and identify the constituents in rat plasma after oral administration of the active fraction of Corydalis yanhusuo, a LC-MS/MS method was established. The constituents absorbed into blood, their original crude drugs and their metabolites were identified either by comparing the retention time and mass spectrometry data with that of reference compounds or by mass spectrometry analysis and retrieving the reference literatures. Nine species are the original form in Corydalis yanhusuo…
LC-MS/MS Determination and Pharmacokinetic Study of Dehydrocorydaline in Rat Plasma after Oral Administration of Dehydrocorydaline and Corydalis yanhusuo Extract
TLDR
The pharmacokinetic parameters showed that DHC from EFY was absorbed more rapidly and eliminated more slowly than pure DHC, which suggests that the differences might be due to the presence of P-glycoprotein (P-gp) inhibitors and that other alkaloids co-existing in the EFY may compete with DHC for transportation by P-gp, metabolization by P450, and binding to plasma proteins.
Metabolomics Coupled with Multivariate Data and Pathway Analysis on Potential Biomarkers in Gastric Ulcer and Intervention Effects of Corydalis yanhusuo Alkaloid
TLDR
The results show that changed biomarkers and pathways may provide evidence to insight into drug action mechanisms and enable the increase research productivity toward metabolomics drug discovery.
An Ultra-High Performance Liquid Chromatography with Tandem Mass Spectrometry Method for Determination of 10 Alkaloids in Beagle Dog Plasma after the Oral Administration of the Corydalis yanhusuo W.T. Wang Extract and Yuanhuzhitong Tablets
TLDR
A sensitive and simple ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization-tandem mass spectrometry method for the simultaneous determination of corydaline and tetrahydropalmatine in beagle dog plasma after the oral administration of the Corydalis yanhusuo W.T. Wang and Yuanhuzhitong tablets is developed.
Drug metabolism and disposition diversity of Ranunculales phytometabolites: a systems perspective
TLDR
The current knowledge, as well as the challenges around the DMPK (drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics) associated concerns in streamlining drug research and therapeutic use of Ranunculales phytometabolites are highlighted.
Virtual screening of active compounds from jasminum lanceolarium and potential targets against primary dysmenorrhea based on network pharmacology
TLDR
The anti-inflammation pathways might be the key mechanism of JL for the treatment of PDM based on KEGG pathway enrichment analysis and pharmacological experiment, and 10-hydroxyoleoside dimethyl ester might be a promising leading compound due to its good molecular docking scores and previous experimental evaluation.
Network Pharmacology-Based Approach to Investigate the Analgesic Efficacy and Molecular Targets of Xuangui Dropping Pill for Treating Primary Dysmenorrhea
TLDR
It is shown that XGDP may exert its therapeutic effects on PD through the regulation of the targets related to anti-inflammation analgesia and central analgesiaand relieving smooth muscle contraction.
Identification and developmental expression profiling of putative alkaloid biosynthetic genes in Corydalis yanhusuo bulbs
TLDR
The first transcriptome database of C. yanhusuo is established to provide insights on pathways and molecular regulation of alkaloid biosynthesis, to initiate metabolic engineering in order to improve the yield of interesting alkaloids and to identify potentially new alkaloidal types predicted from the transcriptomic information.
