Platelet function (duration and percentage of aggregation and disaggregation) was studied in 65 chronic coronary patients over the course of hyperbaric oxygenation and antiaggregant therapy. A course of hyperbaric oxygenation (8 to 12 sessions at absolute atmosphere of 1.3-1.6 for 40 min) had no proaggregant or antiaggregant effects on the platelets in this category of patients.
