Hemodynamic changes were studied in normovolemic and hypovolemic canines during epidural block. In normovolemic canines after epidural block, stroke volume (SV) increased, heart rate (HR) slowed down and total peripheral resistance (TPR) and mean arterial pressure (MAP) decreased.
