In this open prospective study dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), a hydroxyl radical scavenger, was tested in a 50% concentration in a fatty cream base (cremor vaselini cetomacrogolis FNA) in a total of 37 patients suffering from reflex sympathetic dystrophy.
