[Endocarditis in heart valve bioprosthesis caused by Cardiobacterium hominis].

Abstract

A 36-year-old female patient developed Cardiobacterium hominis endocarditis on a mitral valve prosthesis. The etiologic agent was identified in the seventh day of incubation of the blood cultures specimens.
