The diagnosis of female pelvic tuberculosis is seldom thought of although it is still an entity. The reason why it is so seldom considered is partly because it has greatly diminished in incidence and also because the population who suffer from it and who are becoming much older move about. Another reason is that the symptomatology has changed, and now most often shows in pure haemorrhagic forms.
