Examination of the clinical archives for 1931-1980, epidemiological survey of the Samarkand and Kashka-Darya regions as well as clinical examination of 49 patients showed disseminated sclerosis to occur more rarely among the aboriginal population (26,8%) than among newcomers (73,2%).
