PURPOSE To compare easy-to-perform three-dimensional power Doppler ultrasound (3D PDUS) to color Doppler ultrasound (CDUS) and digital subtraction angiography (DSA) in the assessment of internal carotid artery (ICA) stenoses in patients with severe atherosclerosis.
