  • Here the clinic comparison between both inhaling and oral Mucosolvin therapy is reported on. To determine the virtual viscosity of sputum has proved to be the deciding parameter to measure the effect of Mucosolvin. Both Mucosolvin inhalable and oral are equally effective. But whereas with oral therapy there were no side effects (e.g. bronchospasm) necessitating withdrawal of the drug such side effects occurred with inhaling therapy.
