BACKGROUND Tuberculosis-specific ELISPOT assay (T-SPOT.TB, Oxford Immunotec, UK) is a test that detects interferon-gamma producing T-cells after stimulating patient's lymphocytes with two kinds of tuberculosis-specific antigens (ESAT-6 and CFP-10).
