An analysis of the nationwide survey of the distribution of human parasites in the light of the literature previously published, two major trends in the endemicity of parasitic diseases in China was observed. For one trend, the infection rate of E. histolytica, Fasciolopsis buski and soil-transmitted helminthasis etc. declined markedly.
