[Autochthonous cases of tick-borne encephalitis in Rhineland-Palatinate].


Tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) is a neurotrophic viral disease which is endemic to certain regions. Such areas in Germany include Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, and the Odenwald region in Hessen.
