OBJECTIVE To analyze the compositions of essential oil from Mahonia duclouxiana. METHODS The essential oil was extracted by steam distillation, its chemical components were analyzed by GC-MS, and principal component was confirmed by GC. RESULTS 80 peaks were detected and 41 components have been identified, which made up more than 90% of total essential oil.
