Norms for the 20-m shuttle run test (with 1 min stages) for the functional and maximal aerobic power (FMAP) are given by age or academic year for boys and girls from 6 to 17 years old for the province of Quebec in May 1981. The sample, 3669 boys and 3355 girls, was selected by stratum according to the scholar population of each region in Quebec.
