Both aspoxicillin (ASPC) and ceftazidime (CAZ) were administered together to 55 patients with intractable respiratory tract infections. ASPC and CAZ were administered at daily doses of 4 g and 2 to 4 g, respectively. Clinical effects were excellent in 11 cases, good in 33, fair in 7 and poor in 4, thus the efficacy rate was 80.0%.
