BACKGROUND Post-acute pancreatic collections (PAPCs) may require intervention when persistent, large or symptomatic. An open cystgastrostomy is an effective treatment option particularly for larger, solid predominant collections. A laparoscopic cystgastrostomy (LCG) as initially described, could be technically challenging.
