We study the $Z^\prime$ phenomenology for two extensions of the Electroweak Standard Model (SM) which have an extra $U(1)_{B-L}$ gauge factor. We show the capabilities of the LHC in distinguishing the signals coming from these two extensions and both of them from the Standard Model background. In order to compare the behavior of these $B-L$ models we consider the reaction $p + p\longrightarrow \mu^+ + \mu^- + X$ and compute some observables as the total cross sections, number of events, forward… Expand

Constraining minimal anomaly free U(1) extensions of the Standard Model
A bstractWe consider a class of minimal anomaly free U(1) extensions of the Standard Model with three generations of right-handed neutrinos and a complex scalar. Using electroweak precisionExpand
Supersymmetric U (1) Y′ ⊗ U (1) B - L extension of the Standard Model
We build a supersymmetric version with SU(3)C ⊗ SU(2)L ⊗ U(1)Y′⊗ U(1)B−L gauge symmetry, where Y′ is a new charge and B and L are the usual baryonic and leptonic numbers. The model has threeExpand
Visible and dark matter from a first-order phase transition in a baryon-symmetric universe
The similar cosmological abundances observed for visible and dark matter suggest a common origin for both. By viewing the dark matter density as a dark-sector asymmetry, mirroring the situation inExpand
Confronting various dark matter scenarios with dwarf spheroidal gamma-ray observations
Dwarf spheroidal galaxies are promising targets for the indirect detection of dark matter through gamma-ray emission due to their proximity, lack of astrophysical backgrounds and high dark matterExpand

The BESS model revisited as a Higgsless Linear Moose @ the LHC
We study the phenomenological consequences of a four site Higgsless model based on the SU(2)_L x SU(2)_1 x SU(2)_2 x U(1)_Y gauge symmetry, which predicts two neutral and four charged extra gaugeExpand
CompHEP 4.4 - Automatic Computations from Lagrangians to Events
Abstract We present a new version of the CompHEP program (version 4.4). We describe shortly new issues implemented in this version, namely, simplification of quark flavor combinatorics for theExpand
Pedagogical Introduction to Extra Dimensions
Extra dimensions provide a new window on a number of problems faced by the Standard Model. The following provides an introduction to this very broad subject aimed at experimental graduate studentsExpand
