Abstract. The $\eta$η mesic nucleus is considered to be one of the interesting exotic many-body systems and has been studied since the 1980s theoretically and experimentally. Recently, the formation of the $\eta$η mesic nucleus in the fusion reactions of the light nuclei such as $d + d \rightarrow (\eta + \alpha) \rightarrow X$d+d→(η+α)→X has been proposed and the experiments have been performed by WASA-at-COSY. We develop a theoretical model to evaluate the formation rate of the $\eta$η mesic…

$\eta$η-4He interaction from the $dd \rightarrow \eta$dd→η4He reaction near threshold
Abstract. We analyze the data on the total cross sections for the $dd \rightarrow \eta {}^{4}\mathrm{He}$dd→η4 He reaction close to threshold and look for possible $ \eta {}^{4}\mathrm{He}$η4 He bound
η′ and η mesons with connection to anomalous glue
We review the present understanding of etaprime and eta meson physics and these mesons as a probe of gluon dynamics in low-energy QCD. Recent highlights include the production mechanism of eta and
Systematic few-body analysis of eta-d, eta-3He and eta-4He interaction at low energies
The Alt-Grassberger-Sandhas N-body theory is used to study interaction of eta-mesons with d, 3He, and 4He. Separable expansion of the subamplitudes is adopted to convert the integral equations into
Search for the $$\eta $$-Mesic Helium in Proton–Deuteron and Deuteron–Deuteron Reactions
This report presents the status of the search for \(\eta \)-mesic Helium nuclei with the WASA-at-COSY facility.
Search for the η-mesic bound states with the WASA-at-COSY detector
The experiments dedicated to the search for η-mesic Helium were performed with high statistics using WASA detection setups installed at the COSY accelerator in the Research Center Juelich. The search
Luminosity determination for the proton-deuteron reaction using pd -> 3He eta channel with WASA-at-COSY detector
In this report one of the methods used for the luminosity determination for the experiment performed by WASA Collaboration to search for 3He-eta mesic nuclei is presented. The method is based on the

η-nucleus interaction from the d + d reaction around the η production threshold
Recently, the new experiments of the d+d→ (η+α)→ X reaction have been proposed and performed at WASA-at-COSY [1–7]. In the experiments, the formation cross section of the η-mesic nucleus in the α
Three body mechanism of eta production
The usefulness of the three-body mechanism of $\eta$-meson production is tested by extending to high energies a recently developed two step model of the $p d \to ^3$He $\eta$ reaction by us, which
Search for the He-η bound states with the WASA-at-COSY facility
The η-mesic nuclei in which the η meson is bound with nucleus via strong interaction was postulated already in 1986, however till now no experiment confirmed empirically its existence. The discovery
Formation of eta-mesic nuclei by (pi,N) reaction and N*(1535) in medium
We calculate formation spectra of eta-nucleus systems in (pi,N) reactions with nuclear targets, which can be performed at existing and/or forthcoming facilities, including J-PARC, in order to
Eta-mesic nuclei: past, present, future
Eta-mesic nucleus or the quasibound nuclear state of an eta (η) meson in a nucleus is caused by strong interaction force alone. This new type of nuclear species, which extends the landscape of
Comment on "Hadronic $^3$He$η$ production near threshold"
Measurements of the differential and total cross sections for the $p d \to ^3$He $\eta$ reaction at five energies were recently reported [Phys. Rev. C {\bf 75}, 014004 (2007)] and comparisons with
η-nucleus interactions and in-medium properties of N * (1535) in chiral models
The properties of eta-nucleus interaction and their experimental consequences are investigated with eta-nucleus optical potentials obtained by postulating the N*(1535) dominance for eta-N system. The
