The quantitative results from real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification showed that the dominant AnAOB comprised approximately 50% of the total bacterial 16S rRNA genes in the reactor, whereas the AAOB of beta-Proteobacteria represented only about 3%.
Transfer of Chryseobacterium meningosepticum and Chryseobacterium miricola to Elizabethkingia gen. nov. as Elizabethkingia meningoseptica comb. nov. and Elizabethkingia miricola comb. nov.

- 1 May 2005
The taxonomic positions of six strains of Chryseobacterium meningosepticum and C. miricola were re-evaluated by using a polyphasic taxonomic approach and phylogenetic and phenotypic data showed that they should be transferred to a new genus, Elizabethkingia gen. nov.

- 1 September 2006
Chemotaxonomic data supported the affiliation of strain TR6-04(T) to the genus Sphingobacterium, but on the basis of its phenotypic properties and phylogenetic distinctiveness, strain TR 6-04 (T) should be classified as the type strain of a novel species, for which the name SphingOBacterium daejeonense sp.
Hymenobacter soli sp. nov., isolated from grass soil.
- Kyoung-Ho Kim, W. Im, sung-taik lee
- BiologyInternational Journal of Systematic and…
- 1 April 2008
The results of phylogenetic, chemotaxonomic and phenotypic characterization indicated that strain PB17T can be distinguished from all known Hymanobacter species and represents a novel species, for which the name Hymenobacter soli sp.
Silvimonas terrae gen. nov., sp. nov., a novel chitin-degrading facultative anaerobe belonging to the 'Betaproteobacteria'.

It is proposed that strain Ko07(T) should be classified as representing a novel member of the genus Lysobacter, for which the name Ly sobacter concretionis sp.
Mucilaginibacter daejeonensis sp. nov., isolated from dried rice straw.
- Dong-Shan An, C. Yin, sung-taik lee, Chun-Hwi Cho
- BiologyInternational Journal of Systematic and…
- 1 May 2009
The results of physiological and biochemical tests allowed phenotypic differentiation of strain Jip 10(T) from other Mucilaginibacter species with validly published names, and it was classified as the type strain of a novel species, for which the name MucILaginibacteria daejeonensis sp.
