- BiologyPLoS ONE
- 5 June 2015
Maximum parsimony analyses of a 72-gene, 16 taxa angiosperm dataset strongly support the placement of Actinidiaceae in Ericales within the basal asterids.
Phylogenetic Relationships in Actinidia as Revealed by RAPD Analysis
- Hongwen Huang, Zuozhou Li, Jianqiang Li, T. Kubisiak, D. Layne
- Biology
- 1 September 2002
The phylogenetic analysis revealed a clear indication that section Leiocarpae was a monophyletic group, and subdivisions of the other three traditional sections were poorly supported, supplementing previous understanding of the Actinidia taxonomy based solely on morphological characters.

Molecular Characterization of Kiwifruit (Actinidia) Cultivars and Selections Using SSR Markers
- Yi Zhen, Zuozhou Li, Hongwen Huang, Ying Wang
- Biology
- 1 May 2004
Forty-eight kiwifruit cultivars and selections were investigated using nine SSR markers to establish genetic identities, and evaluate genetic diversity and relatedness, and consensus was found using SSRs is a useful and reliable method for establishing genetic identities of kiwIfruit cultivARS and selections.

- Yanqin Xu, Zuozhou Li, Ying Wang
- Chemistry, MedicineChemistry and Biodiversity
- 1 April 2013
Considering of the high concentrations of main flavonoids and abundant resources, E. brevicornu could be exploited as a good medical resource for Herba Epimedii and would offer a tremendous potential for commercial development, but SXXA population should be paid special attention, and further study is needed.
Vitamin C, flower color and ploidy variation of hybrids from a ploidy-unbalanced Actinidia interspecific cross and SSR characterization
- Lei Zhang, Zuozhou Li, Yanchang Wang, Zhengwang Jiang, Shengmei Wang, Hongwen Huang
- BiologyEuphytica
- 30 May 2010
The results show that the leaf vitamin C content of this hybrid population has a mid-parent heterosis and the diploid parent was completely separated from the hexaploids parent and all the progeny.

- Jinju Zhang, Zuozhou Li, P. Fritsch, Hua Tian, Aihong Yang, X. Yao
- Environmental ScienceAnnals of Botany
- 1 October 2015
Spatial patterns of molecular variation and ENM suggest that T. sinensis may have retreated in south-western and central China and colonized eastern China prior to the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM), and should be given high priority in the development of conservation policies and management strategies for this endangered species.
Development of microsatellite markers in Actinidia arguta (Actinidiaceae) based on the NCBI data platform.
- Y. Man, Yanchang Wang, Changjiang Liu
- BiologyAmerican-Eurasian journal of botany
- 1 November 2011
Development of Actinidia ESTs from the NCBI database is an effective method of obtaining SSR markers for A. arguta, and these markers will be useful for genome mapping and molecular breeding in A.arguta.
