A novel protein encoded by a circular RNA circPPP1R12A promotes tumor pathogenesis and metastasis of colon cancer via Hippo-YAP signaling
- Xiao Zheng, Lujun Chen, Jingting Jiang
- BiologyMolecular Cancer
- 29 March 2019
It is identified that circPPP1R12A-73aa promoted the tumor pathogenesis and metastasis of CC via activating Hippo-YAP signaling pathway and the YAP specific inhibitor Peptide 17 dramatically alleviated the promotive effect of circPPp1R 12A- 73aa on CC cells.
MicroRNA expression profile in Treg cells in the course of primary immune thrombocytopenia

Compared with the healthy controls, miRNAs expressed differentially in the Tregs of patients with ITP, and the levels of expression of miR-155–5p,MiR-146b- 5p, and mi-142–3p were significantly decreased, indicating that the deregulation of mi RNAs may affect the function of TregS in the course of ITP.

Overall, the present study identified exosomal miRNAs with dysregulated expression in patients with osteosarcoma, and they may have potential as targets for the treatment of patients with fractures.
The LncRNA XIRP2-AS1 predicts favorable prognosis in colon cancer
- F-R Zhou, F. Shen, Zhuojun Zheng, Jincheng Ruan
- Biology, MedicineOncoTargets and Therapy
- 1 July 2019
Clinical sample analysis showed that XIRP2-AS1 had a favorable impact on the overall survival and progression free survival of patients with colon cancer, suggesting that XirP2 -AS1 may act as a favorable biomarker for patients with Colon cancer.

Lower Bmi-1 Expression May Predict Longer Survival of Colon Cancer Patients
- Xiaodong Li, Xiao Zheng, Changping Wu
- Medicine, BiologyCellular Physiology and Biochemistry
- 1 November 2016
Bmi-1 expression in CC tissue is significantly higher than that in corresponding normal tissue, and while there may be a trend towards improved survival, this is not statistically significant.
