The g-C(3)N(4) photocatalyst was synthesized by directly heating the low-cost melamine. The methyl orange dye (MO) was selected as a photodegrading goal to evaluate the photocatalytic activity of as-prepared g-C(3)N(4). The comparison experiments indicate that the photocatalytic activity of g-C(3)N(4) can be largely improved by the Ag loading. The strong(More)
Graphitic carbon nitride (g-C(3)N(4)) and boron-doped g-C(3)N(4) were prepared by heating melamine and the mixture of melamine and boron oxide, respectively. X-ray diffraction, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and UV-vis spectra were used to describe the properties of as-prepared samples. The electron paramagnetic resonance was used to detect the active(More)
Organic-inorganic composite photocatalyst g-C(3)N(4)-TaON with visible-light response was prepared by a milling-heat treatment method. The photocatalyst was characterized by X-ray diffraction, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy and UV-vis diffuse reflection spectroscopy. The activity of composite photocatalyst g-C(3)N(4)-TaON for(More)
Deoxynucleoside-5′-monophosphates (5′-dNMPs) are the basic components of DNA and are widely used in medicine and as chemical and biochemical reagents. A large amount of effort has been expended to obtain 5′-dNMPs of high quality and at a low cost. However, these procedures are inefficient and inconvenient. In this study, deoxyadenosine-5′-monophosphate(More)
Uridine 5'-monophosphate (5'-UMP) and cytidine 5'-monophosphate (5'-CMP) were biosynthesized by recombinant uridine-cytidine kinase (UCK) and acetate kinase (ACK). The ack and uck genes from Escherichia coli K12 and the uck1, uck2 and ack genes from Lactobacillus bulgaricus ATCC 11842 were cloned and inserted into the plasmid pET-28a. All of the recombinant(More)
We present a reflective-type optical delay line using waveguide side-coupled 13 microring resonators terminated with a sagnac loop reflector. Light passes through the microring resonator sequence twice, doubling the delay-bandwidth product. Group delay is tuned by p-i-p type microheaters integrated directly in the microring waveguides. Experiment(More)
We experimentally demonstrate tunable silicon comb filters based on Fabry-Perot (FP) resonators composed of two Sagnac loop mirrors. The comb filter resolves up to 54 comb lines with a 115 GHz channel spacing over a spectral range from 1510 to 1560 nm. The comb line extinction ratio is ~26.3 dB and the quality factor is ~57,000 around 1550 nm wavelength.(More)
A process of glucose-6-phosphate (G-6-P) production coupled with an adenosine triphosphate (ATP) regeneration system was constructed that utilized acetyl phosphate (ACP) via acetate kinase (ACKase). The genes glk and ack from Escherichia coli K12 were amplified and cloned into pET-28a(+), then transformed into E. coli BL21 (DE3) and the recombinant strains(More)
A novel mesoporous SBA-15 type of hybrid material (3-trimethoxysilylpropyl)[4-(2-hydroxyphenyl)methylene] benzenesulfonamide (Schiff-SBA-15) has been obtained by co-condensation of tetraethyl orthosilicate and the organosilane, and the result of XRD confirms the order hexagonal structure of the composite. This hybrid mesoporous material is(More)
