An overview of the phylogeny of the Agaricales is presented based on a multilocus analysis of a six-gene region supermatrix, which recovered six major clades, which are recognized informally and labeled theAgaricoid, Tricholomatoid, Marasmioid, Pluteoid, Hygrophoroid and Plicaturopsidoid clades.
