The results demonstrate that the direct and efficient ethanol production from lignocellulosic materials is accomplished by simultaneous saccharification and co-fermentation (glucose and xylose) with the co-culture of the two recombinant yeasts.

The L/B ODTs developed successfully with an optimized formulation with direct compression technology had good taste, no roughness, and no gritty feeling, indicating that the O DTs prepared had good palatability, so patients will have good compliance when taking medicine.
