An assessment of the spatial regularities of the distribution of radionuclides in soil is given for the example of one of the regions of Central Russia. The level of their accumulation typical for various pedogenic regimes is determined. The role of pedogenic processes and technogenesis in the formation of the natural radiation background of the territory… (More)
In a lysimetric experiment under the influence of organic and organomineral fertilizer systems, bioelements Zn and Cu are significantly more delayed in the pedosphere. Organic fertilizers promote retention Pb and Cd in the soil, and mineral ones promote their alienation from the pedosphere.
The content of heavy metals in soils of natural and anthropogenic ecosystems in the Ryazan region is analyzed. Natural factors, agriculture, and technogenic pollution are compared according to the degree of their effect on heavy metal accumulation in soil.
The capacity of waterlogged and oil-polluted forest-steppe soils for self-recovery under conditions of natural and technogenic conditions has been studied.
It is shown that modern methods of land amelioration cannot maintain optimum root-zone soil moisture every day during the entire vegetation period; in practice, it is calculated with consideration of allowable limits. A method is given for calculating the ranges of optimum groundwater levels during regulation of the water regime in soils of ameliorated… (More)
