Physiological and proteomic analyses of the drought stress response in Amygdalus Mira (Koehne) Yü et Lu roots
- Yuan Cao, Qiuxiang Luo, Yan Tian, Fanjuan Meng
- Biology, MedicineBMC Plant Biology
- 27 February 2017
The interaction between enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidants, the levels of proline, MDA, H2O2 and the relative conductivity, and the expression level of proteins in drought-treated plants all contribute to drought resistance in Amygdalus mira (Koehne) Yü et Lu.
Combined effects of temperature, irradiance and salinity on growth of diatomSkeletonema costatum
- Yan Tian, Zhou Mingjiang, Qian Peiyuan
- Environmental Science
- 1 September 2002
The results indicated S. costatum could divide at higher rate and were more likely to bloom under high temperature and high illumination from spring to fall due to its adaptation to a wide range of salinities.
Evaluation of genetic diversity on Prunus mira Koehne by using ISSR and RAPD markers
- Yan Tian, Chunjie Xing, Fanjuan Meng
- Biology
- 24 July 2015
For conservation of P. mira Koehne, ex situ conservation is a suitable strategy that needs to be established in the future and DNA-based molecular markers, inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR) and random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) were efficient methods to detect the genetic diversity of the wild species.
Will harmful dinoflagellate Karenia mikimotoi grow phagotrophically
- Zhang Qingchun, Yu Ren-cheng, S. Jingjing, Yan Tian, Wang Yunfeng, Zhou Mingjiang
- Environmental Science
- 10 July 2011
We studied the phagotrophic ability of dinoflagellate strain Karenia mikimotoi KM-Lu (isolated from the South China Sea), using fluorescent microspheres, bacteria isolated from the culture of K.…
Evaluation of genetic diversity in Amygdalus mira (Koehne) Ricker using SSR and ISSR markers
- Chunjie Xing, Yan Tian, Fachun Guan, Fanjuan Meng
- BiologyPlant Systematics and Evolution
- 20 January 2015
Through combined analysis of SSR and ISSR, high levels of polymorphism were observed, indicating that SSR or ISSR were efficient methods to detect genetic diversity of natural A. mira populations; all the samples were divided into two major clusters at the similarity coefficient of 0.54; the highest H and I values were observed in LZ population.

Application of rotifer Brachionus plicatilis in detecting the toxicity of harmful algae
- Yan Tian, Wang Yunfeng, Wang Liping, Chen Yang, Han Gang, Zhou Mingjiang
- Environmental Science
- 12 July 2009
All the indexes of individual survival and reproduction, population increase, gut pigment change of the rotifers are good and convenient to be used to reflect the toxicities of HAB species and rotifer is suggested as one of the toxicity testing organisms in detecting the toxicity of harmful algae.
The effect of the causative algae of large-scale HAB in the East China Sea on egg hatching of Argopecten irradians, and population growth of Brachionus plicatilis and Moina mongolica
- T. Chen, Yan Tian, Liping Wang, Z. Bin, Ming-jiang Zhou
- Environmental Science
- 2007
The results indicated that the large-scale HAB in the East China Sea could have adverse effect on zooplankton, and might further influence the marine ecosystem, especially when there was also Alexandrium bloom.
Species of Hymenochaete (Hymenochaetales, Basidiomycota) on bamboos from East Asia, with descriptions of two new species
- Ting Nie, Yan Tian, SHI-LIANG Liu, Jiao Yang, Shuang-Hui He
- Biology, Environmental Science
- 16 March 2017
Two new species of Hymenochaete, H. bambusicola and H. orientalis, are described and illustrated as new to science and form a distinct lineage close to H. cinnamomea in the ITS+nrLSU based phylogenetic analyses.
Analysis of toxins in snails responsible for two poisoning incidents in China
- Yan Tian
- Chemistry
- 2007
The closely resemblance of toxin profile between the two snail samples from Fujiang Province and Jiangsu Province suggested that they might have similar toxin sources, but the origin of TTX and its derivatives in the snails still need more detailed investigation and research.
