Beneficial Effects of Evogliptin, a Novel Dipeptidyl Peptidase 4 Inhibitor, on Adiposity with Increased Ppargc1a in White Adipose Tissue in Obese Mice
It is demonstrated for the first time that pharmacological DPP4 inhibition by evogliptin directly causes fat loss in established obese mice, providing insight into the regulation of energy storage in WAT caused by DPP 4 inhibition.
The effect of PDE5 inhibition on the erectile function in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats
It is suggested that subchronic treatment of DA-8159 can prevent the development of erectile dysfunction (ED), and provides a rationale for the use of DA -8159 as treatment of diabetic ED.
The Therapeutic Effect of DA-6034 on Ocular Inflammation via Suppression of MMP-9 and Inflammatory Cytokines and Activation of the MAPK Signaling Pathway in an Experimental Dry Eye Model
- M. Seo, J. M. Kim, M. J. Lee, Y. Sohn, K. Kang, M. Yoo
- Biology, MedicineCurrent eye research
- 1 February 2010
In this inflammation model of dry eye, DA-6034 clearly showed therapeutic efficacy by restoring tear function and inhibiting inflammatory responses after topical ocular application and might be a potential treatment option for acute dry eye syndrome.
Lectin histochemistry for glycoconjugates in the small intestines of piglets naturally infected with Isospora suis.
- Bo-Young Choi, Y. Sohn, Changsun Choi, C. Chae
- Biology, ChemistryThe Journal of veterinary medical science
- 1 March 2003
Results indicate that I. suis infection alters carbohydrate residues on the jejunal intestines.
Prevention and treatment effect of evogliptin on hepatic steatosis in high-fat-fed animal models
It is suggested that evogliptin treatment ameliorates fatty liver by increasing insulin sensitivity and suppressing lipogenesis and reduction in plasma non-esterified fatty acids supported the improvement of insulin resistance by evoglisptin treatment.
Candidate molecule for premature ejaculation, DA-8031: in vivo and in vitro characterization of DA-8031.
Immunohistochemical detection of galectin-3 in canine gastric carcinomas.
- H. Woo, H. Joo, S. W. Song, Y. Sohn, C. Chae
- Medicine, BiologyJournal of comparative pathology
- 1 February 2001
The results suggest that galactin-3 has a pathophysiological role in canine gastric carcinoma.
Therapeutic effect of DA-9601 on chronic reflux gastritis induced by sodium taurocholate in rats.
It is suggested that DA-9601 is a promising agent for the treatment of chronic erosive and atrophic gastritis with an etiological factor of bile reflux.
DA-8159, a potent cGMP phosphodiesterase inhibitor, attenuates monocrotaline-induced pulmonary hypertension in rats
- K. Kang, G. Ahn, Y. Sohn, B. Ahn, W. Kim
- Biology, MedicineArchives of pharmacal research
- 1 August 2003
It is suggested that DA-8159 may be a useful oral treatment option for PH because it markedly and dose-dependently reduced the development of right ventricular hypertrophy and medial wall thickening and amplified the increase in plasma cGMP level and significantly increased the level of lung cG MP, compared with the MCT group.
Lectin histochemistry of Peyer's patches in the porcine ileum.
- K. Jeong, Y. Sohn, K. Ahn, Changsun Choi, D. Han, C. Chae
- BiologyThe Journal of veterinary medical science
- 1 June 2002
Lectin staining pattern in Peyer's patches of porcine ileum was studied using twenty one biotinylated-labeled lectins as cell markers which were visualized with avidin-biotin-peroxidase complex…
