Endometrial Stromal Sarcomas and Related High-grade Sarcomas: Immunohistochemical and Molecular Genetic Study of 31 Cases
- S. Kurihara, Y. Oda, M. Tsuneyoshi
- Medicine, BiologyAmerican Journal of Surgical Pathology
- 1 August 2008
The data suggest that Ues-U shares some molecular genetic and immunohistochemical characteristics with ESS-LG, but UES-P considerably differs from E SS-LG.
Characterization of FN1–FGFR1 and novel FN1–FGF1 fusion genes in a large series of phosphaturic mesenchymal tumors
- Jen-Chieh Lee, Sheng-Yao Su, A. Folpe
- Medicine, BiologyModern Pathology
- 1 November 2016
Insight is provided into possible mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of phosphaturic mesenchymal tumor and imply a central role of the FGF1-FGFR1 signaling pathway.
c-kit and PDGFRA Mutations in Extragastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor of the Soft Tissue)
- Hidetaka Yamamoto, Y. Oda, M. Tsuneyoshi
- BiologyAmerican Journal of Surgical Pathology
- 1 April 2004
The results suggest that the c-kit and PDGFRA mutations play an important role in the tumorigenesis of EGIST and high mitotic counts and a high Ki-67 labeling index may be useful for predicting the aggressive biologic behavior in EGIST.
Apparent diffusion coefficients of breast tumors: clinical application.
- M. Hatakenaka, H. Soeda, H. Honda
- MedicineMagnetic Resonance in Medical Sciences
- 1 December 2008
The ADC may potentially help in differentiating benign and malignant breast tumors and correlates inversely with tumor cellularity.
Pathogenesis and classification of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma: different characters of perihilar large duct type versus peripheral small duct type
- S. Aishima, Y. Oda
- MedicineJournal of hepato-biliary-pancreatic sciences
- 1 February 2015
The different morphological and molecular features, including stromal components and tumor vasculature, support the hypothesis that perihilar large duct type ICCs and peripheral small ducttype ICCs arise from different backgrounds, have different carcinogenetic pathways, and exhibit different biologic behaviors.
Extrarenal rhabdoid tumors of soft tissue: Clinicopathological and molecular genetic review and distinction from other soft‐tissue sarcomas with rhabdoid features
- Y. Oda, M. Tsuneyoshi
- Medicine, BiologyPathology international (Print)
- 1 June 2006
Detailed clinicopathological and immunohistochemical evaluations are necessary to distinguish MRT of soft tissue from proximal‐type ES, because these tumors demonstrated a similar morphology and the same gene alteration.
Integrated Multiregional Analysis Proposing a New Model of Colorectal Cancer Evolution
- R. Uchi, Y. Takahashi, K. Mimori
- BiologyPLoS Genetics
- 1 February 2016
A new model of colorectal cancer evolution is proposed, which is useful for understanding and confronting this heterogeneous disease and suggests extensive intratumor heterogeneity could be generated by neutral evolution.
Anatomical features of periprostatic tissue and its surroundings: a histological analysis of 79 radical retropubic prostatectomy specimens.
- K. Kiyoshima, A. Yokomizo, Y. Hasegawa
- MedicineJapanese Journal of Clinical Oncology
- 1 August 2004
All the periprostatic structures are closely related and influence each other and support the rationale of anatomical radical prostatectomy, and should be taken into consideration for surgical procedures and pathological diagnosis.
Expression profile of class I histone deacetylases in human cancer tissues.
- Masamune Nakagawa, Y. Oda, M. Tsuneyoshi
- Biology, MedicineOncology Report
- 1 October 2007
The results suggest the potential usefulness of HDAC inhibitors for the treatment of a wide variety of human cancers and identify which subtype of class I HDACs are overexpressed in cancers.
