The rational design, physicochemical characteristics and recent advances in the development of different classes of polymer–drug conjugates, including polymer–protein and polymer–small-molecule drug conjugating, dendrimers, polymer nanoparticles and multifunctional systems are discussed.
Local drug delivery strategies for cancer treatment: gels, nanoparticles, polymeric films, rods, and wafers.
Relationship between margin distance and local recurrence among patients undergoing wedge resection for small (≤2 cm) non-small cell lung cancer.
Similar long-term survival of elderly patients with non-small cell lung cancer treated with lobectomy or wedge resection within the surveillance, epidemiology, and end results database.
Age is an independent predictor of postsurgical survival in NSCLC patients, even after adjustment for significant covariates, and among younger patients undergoing curative surgery, lobectomies are more commonly performed and confer a significant survival benefit over limited resections.

Adding antilymphocyte globulin (ALG) to the TBI/CyP-based conditioning approach reduced the radiation required for engraftment to < or = 300 cGy, and may provide a clinically acceptable approach for the induction of donor-specific transplantation tolerance.
Image‐guided video assisted thoracoscopic surgery (iVATS) ‐ phase I‐II clinical trial
A novel surgical approach which combines placement of fiducials using intra‐operative C‐arm computed tomography guidance with standard thoracoscopic resection technique using image‐guided video‐assistedThoracoscopic surgery (iVATS) is developed.
Graft Produced Interleukin-6 Functions as a Danger Signal and Promotes Rejection After Transplantation

The results suggest the paradigm that graft rejection versus tolerance is determined by a balance between the activation of effector T cells versus immune suppression by regulatory T cells, and that after transplantation, IL-6 functions as a systemic danger signal that overcomes constitutive immune suppression mediated by regulators.
Mimicking the tumor microenvironment to regulate macrophage phenotype and assessing chemotherapeutic efficacy in embedded cancer cell/macrophage spheroid models.
