Inactivation of antineoplastics in clinical wastewater by electrolysis.
TLDR
The conditions for the electrolytic treatment of an antineoplastic, epirubicin hydrochloride (EH), using two platinum electrodes with a constant current of 100 mA are determined, and the biological toxicity of a mixture of these drugs was determined to be decreased by approximately 99% by electrolysis under the same conditions. MICROSCOPIC EVALUATION OF CEMENT IN HISTORIC MORTAR/CONCRETE AT OLD NOBIRU PORT PROJECT
Hardened cement bodies sampled from the old Nobiru Port remains, among the oldest extant in Japan, were characterized both mineralogically and chemically using polarizing and electron microscopes.Expand
Investigation on Contamination Level of Salmonella spp. in Chicken Meat and Analysis of Salmonella Infantis by PFGE Method
TLDR
It is confirmed that the target audience for the PFGE-Infantis partnership will be female-majority, with a target audience of 25-35 years old. Expand
Survival of Campylobacter jejuni in Frozen Chicken Meat and Genetic Analysis of Isolates by Pulsed-Field Gel Electrophoresis
Interactive effects of wood decomposer fungal activities and bryophytes on spruce seedling regeneration on coarse woody debris
TLDR
It is suggested that fungal wood decomposer activities affect colonization of Picea seedlings in an indirect way via structuring bryophyte community on the logs. Expand
Digital restoration of faded color images by subjective method
Restoration of faded color images using digital technology has become widely accepted as a very effective and practical method. Restoration can be done if the bleach matrix is known, but usually itExpand
Species effects of bryophyte colonies on tree seeding regeneration on coarse woody debris
TLDR
Analysis of relationships between bryophyte community and tree seedlings growing on logs along the decay process suggested that S. bolanderi colonies, dominant only in the mid-stage of log decomposition, may indicate a ‘window of time’ for spruce seedlings to colonize on logs in this old-growth subalpine coniferous forest.
