Using the CLEO detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring we have observed the Ωc (css ground state) in the decay Ω 0 c → Ω eνe. We find a signal of 11.4 ± 3.8 (stat) events. We examine the thermal model [1, 2] in order to reproduce the momentum spectra of charged pions in Ru + Ru collisions at 400A and 1528A MeV.
