T his article discusses the continuing developing of the web-based virtual factory simulator for teaching industrial statistics and process improvement techniques originally presented in MSOR Connections . The project is jointly funded by the Maths, Stats and OR Network and the University of Greenwich.
An educational web-based virtual factory and simulator environment is presented in this paper. It has been developed for university students to apply various statistical quality control techniques to explore the quality problems.
