Long-term monitoring of Gastropoda (Mollusca) fauna in planted mangroves in central Vietnam
TLDR
The gastropod assemblage found in a 9-year old mangrove plantation differed from natural mangroves associations in that the former is dominated by opportunistic eurybiotic gastropOD species, which could mean that the ecosystem of planted mangroaves is unbalanced and is still in a transitional state.
Additional pandaloid shrimps from the South China Sea (Crustacea : Decapoda : Caridea), with description of one new species
TLDR
Heterocarpus chani, new species, type localities from the Philippines and Nansha Islands, is distinguished from its allied species, H. gibbosus Bate, 1888, by the third maxilliped with a short rudimentary exopod.
Divergent evolutionary pathways and host shifts among the commensal pontoniine shrimps: a preliminary analysis based on selected Indo-Pacific species
TLDR
Twenty-six Indo-Pacific pontoniine species from 23 genera, including both free-living and commensal taxa associated with different marine organisms from five phyla, are selected to preliminarily explore the differentiation process accompanied with the reciprocal natural selections between them and their hosts.
Molecular phylogeny of the superfamily Palaemonoidea (Crustacea : Decapoda : Caridea) based on mitochondrial and nuclear DNA reveals discrepancies with the current classification
TLDR
A revision of Palaemonoidea and a re-evaluation of its constituent taxa appear to be necessary even though the systematic status of the subfamily Pontoniinae is still undetermined.
Further Indo‐West Pacific palaemonoid shrimps (Crustacea: Decapoda: Palaemonoidea), principally from the New Caledonian region
TLDR
Based on the material deposited in the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle, Paris, collected from the Indo‐West Pacific, principally from the New Caledonian region, the present paper reports 117 palaemonoid shrimp species, including eight new species, which belong to Anchistioididae, Gnathophyllidae, PalAemonidae Palaemoninae, and Palaemonicidae Pontoniinae.
A new species and new record of deep-sea scale-worms (Polynoidae: Polychaeta) from the Okinawa Trough and the South China Sea.
A new species of scale-worm, Lepidonotopodium okinawae sp. nov. from the Okinawa Trough is described. The new species differs from the other species of Lepidonotopodium by having 24 segments and
Phylogeny of Indo-West Pacific pontoniine shrimps (Crustacea: Decapoda: Caridea) based on multilocus analysis
TLDR
The results suggest that pontoniines sharing the same hosts may have different evolutionary origins resulting from multiple intrusions of their hosts by morphologically plastic ancestral groups.
Pandaloid shrimps from the northern South China Sea, with description of a new species of Plesionika (Crustacea : Decapoda : Caridea)
The present paper deals with the pandaloid shrimp material collected from the northern part of the South China Sea during the Chinese government's "National Comprehensive Oceanography Survey" program
Report on two deep-water caridean shrimp species (Crustacea: Decapoda: Caridea: Alvinocarididae, Acanthephyridae) from the northeastern South China Sea.
