We propose two algorithms based on Bregman iteration and operator splitting technique for nonlocal TV regularization problems. The convergence of the algorithms is analyzed and applications to deconvolution and sparse reconstruction are presented.
In this paper, we propose a unified primal-dual algorithm framework for two classes of problems that arise from various signal and image processing applications. We also show the connections to existing methods, in particular Bregman iteration based method, such as linearized Bregman [42, 9, 10, 49] and split Bregman . The convergence of the… (More)
We generalize the primal-dual hybrid gradient (PDHG) algorithm proposed by Zhu to a broader class of convex optimization problems. In addition, we survey several closely related methods and explain the connections to PDHG. We point out convergence results for a modified version of PDHG that has a similarly good empirical convergence rate for total variation… (More)
The Arctic mutation (APP E693G) is unique, since it is located within the amyloid-beta (Abeta) sequence and leads to Alzheimer's disease (AD). Arctic Abeta peptides more easily form Abeta protofibrils in vitro, but little is known about the pathogenic mechanism of the Arctic mutation in vivo. Here, we analyzed APP transgenic mice with both the Swedish and… (More)
Through restoration of the light source information in small animals in vivo, optical molecular imaging, such as fluorescence molecular tomography (FMT) and bioluminescence tomography (BLT), can depict biological and physiological changes observed using molecular probes. A priori information plays an indispensable role in tomographic reconstruction. As a… (More)
SHB (Src homology 2 domain-containing adapter protein B) is involved in receptor tyrosine kinase signaling. Mice deficient in the Shb gene have been found to exhibit a transmission ratio distortion with respect to inheritance of the Shb null allele among offspring and this phenomenon was linked to female gamete production. Consequently, we postulated that… (More)
