A recursive definition of the PYXIS grids, a systematic approach to the labeling, an algorithm to add PyXIS labels, and a discussion of the discrete Fourier transform on PYxIS grids are provided.
A new three-dimensional spherical terrain rendering method based on network environment is proposed in this study and a set of nest regular grids are used to cache the terrain, Graphics hardware GPU is applied to accelerate the terrain rendering, and cracks elimination is discussed.
