TLDR
The results showed that SMZ could decrease the speed of nitrate removal significantly when the concentration of SMZ was lower than 10 mg/L, and the removal of nitrates would be completely inhibited when SMZ concentration was higher than 100mg/L.
Effects of multi-electron acceptor coexistence system on perchlorate biodegradation and microbial community variation
TLDR
A new viewpoint was inferred that there are two main reasons at least that make the mixed microorganisms obey a certain sequence to utilize different electron acceptors, one reason is that the perchlorate-degrading bacteria in the mixedmicroorganisms change their own respiratory metabolism pathway.
( Gastropoda , Stylommatophora : Enidae ) , the continuous-peristomed mountain snails endemic to the eastern slope of the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau
TLDR
A taxonomic review of the genus Serina Gredler, endemic to the eastern slope of the QinghaiXizang Plateau, namely S Gansu, SW Sichuan, SE Xizang Autonomous Region and N Yunnan of China, finds that Serina sobrina (Preston) was conspecific with Clausiliopsis szechenyi (Böttger).
Dynamic variations of cyanobacterial blooms and their response to urban development and climate change in Lake Chaohu based on Landsat observations
TLDR
The Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) derived from Landsat observations combined with the development index of surrounding cities from 2009 to 2019 was used to quantitatively analyze the response of cyanobacterial blooms to urban development and climate change.
EFFECT OF ARTIFICIAL OYSTER SHELL REEF ON BENTHIC POLYCHAETA COMMUNITY STRUCTURE IN RONGCHENG BAY,CHINA

  • 2013
TLDR
The statistic results showed that the difference of Polychaeta communities in reef and non-reef areas was not significant, because the shell reef size was relatively small and slightly affected near-bottom water flow and sediment environment.
Bioindication of Water Quality of the Xinlicheng Reservoir by Algal Communities
Abstract The ecological analysis of 31 algae and cyanobacteria indicators assessed the water quality of the Changchun drinking water Xinlicheng Reservoir by using bio-indication methods. The water

There are many gradations of evolutionary events in the history of the Earth. The biologic events(Bonifay,1990)or the dispersal events(Repenning,1967,1980,1984,1987)may be the smallest and the most
Dynamic Variations of Cyanobacterial Blooms And Their Response To Urban Development And Climate Change In Lake Chaohu Based On Landsat Observations
Recurring cyanobacterial blooms have seriously hindered the sustainable development of cities. In this study, the variation trend of cyanobacterial blooms was analyzed by taking Lake Chaohu in
