A virtual spectrum analyzer based on a data acquisition card is presented. The implemented functions are described. The properties of the device were examined. Such features as accuracy and speed are considered. The virtual analyzer and an instrument equipped with a DSP are compared. The integrated programming package LabView was used to design the analyzer.
