A comparative study of nemertean complete mitochondrial genomes, including two new ones for Nectonemertes cf. mirabilis and Zygeupolia rubens, may elucidate the fundamental pattern for the phylum…
Comparison of the gene arrangements and phylogenomic analysis based on concatenated nucleotide sequences of the 12 mitochondrial protein-coding genes revealed that species with closer relationships share more identical gene blocks, which supports one of two recent alternative hypotheses of nemertean phylogeny.
Roles of rpoN in biofilm formation of Vibrio alginolyticus HN08155 at different cell densities.
Genome-wide identification and characterization of the Phenylalanine Ammonia-lyase (PAL) gene family in Medicago truncatula

- BiologyLEGUME RESEARCH - AN INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL
- 8 May 2019
A comprehensive analysis of the Medicago truncatula PAL gene family is presented, including chromosomal locations, phylogenetic analyses, gene structures, three-dimensional (3D) structures and expression patterns, suggesting that MtPAL genes may play important roles in the regulation of development and stress responses in Med Chicago truncats.
Effects of Lactobacillus pentosus combined with Arthrospira platensis on the growth performance, immune response, and intestinal microbiota of Litopenaeus vannamei.
Community Structure of Protease-Producing Bacteria Cultivated From Aquaculture Systems: Potential Impact of a Tropical Environment
Environmental variables played important roles in shaping protease-producing bacterial diversity and community structure in aquaculture systems and will lay a foundation for the development of protease -producing bacterial agents for wastewater purification and the construction of an environment-friendly tropical Aquaculture model.
Multi-Strain Tropical Bacillus spp. as a Potential Probiotic Biocontrol Agent for Large-Scale Enhancement of Mariculture Water Quality
Aquaculture is suffering from long-term water eutrophication in intensive models, whereas the knowledge of multi-strain/specie for improving water quality is extremely limited. Herein, we aimed to…
Culture-dependent and culture-independent characterization of bacterial community diversity in different types of sandy lands: the case of Minqin County, China
- Yali Wei, Fang Wang, Jiangli Gao, Yaolong Huang, Wei Ren, H. Sheng
- MedicineBMC microbiology
- 22 March 2021
The results indicated that Minqin was more suitable for the growth of N. tangutorum and H. ammodendron, which should be one of most important sand-fixing plants in Minqins.
Isolation and Characterization of Cellulolytic Marine Bacteria for Litopenaeus Vannamei Aquaculture Using Sugarcane Bagasse as Carbon Source
This study isolates cellulolytic marine bacteria to hydrolyze sugarcane bagasse (SB) for reducing the cost of addition of external carbon sources in industrial Litopenaeus vannamei aquaculture, indicating that seagrass bed can be used as an important place for screening the cellulolytics bacteria.
Stress adaptation and virulence in Vibrio alginolyticus is mediated by two (p)ppGpp synthetase genes, relA and spoT.
Complete Chloroplast Genome Sequence and Comparative and Phylogenetic Analyses of the Cultivated Cyperus esculentus
The chloroplast genome sequence of the cultivated C. esculentus provides a valuable genomic resource for species identification, evolution, and comparative genomic research on this crop species and other Cyperus species in the Cyperaceae family.
